J2 Aircraft Announce Release of MSFV

J2 Aircraft Dynamics, the leading aerospace design and simulation software solutions company is proud to announce the latest addition to the acclaimed J2 Universal Tool Kit

‘J2 MSFV’ is an embedded process within the J2 Universal Tool-Kit. Model-Simulate-Fly-Validate provides a very powerful platform for drastically reducing the time and effort needed to carry out the certification of an aircraft.
During flight test, the J2 Universal Tool-Kit can be used to predict what test pilots can expect prior to the commencement of test flights, this can then be further validated by loading information from actual data recorders and comparing it to the predictive values for further refinement and validation of the flight model. The recently announced release of J2 Pilot has added a further capability to run man-in-the-loop simulation enabling test pilots to fly the real aircraft unlimited times on the ground saving significant time and money. The same J2 flight model can also be used to drive full mission simulator packages later in the cycle.
The MSFV process is powerful and has already proven its value in major aircraft projects. J2 have direct experience of MSFV with the Eurofighter Typhoon where its adoption helped reduce flying hours, demonstrated compliance with the certification standards and more accurately defined aircraft limits. This embedded process is now a key feature of the J2 Universal Tool-Kit providing a faster and easier approach to aircraft certification.
